A FRIEND BY YOUR SIDE

A new city.
A familiar friend.

When Prince Leo moves to Austin, everything feels new. The streets. The neighbors. Even the trees. Luckily, he has Mushu, a fluffy little dog with a fox-like face and a personality all his own.

Together, they follow lakeside trails, make new friends, and face a winter freeze. Along the way, Leo discovers that belonging can begin with the friend who stays beside you.

THE HEART BEHIND THE STORY

Before he was a character,
he was a best friend.

Mushu was real. Adopted through Cuz I Matter Dog Rescue, he became Adam’s companion through new beginnings, Austin winter freezes, several moves, and countless ordinary days made better by his company.

Sweet, loyal, and never shy about a little side-eye, Mushu helped turn a new city into home. Though he is no longer here, his love lives on in these pages.

“You were there for every new beginning, every hard day, every move, and every adventure. You made Austin home.”From Adam’s dedication to Mushu

A forever kind of love.

MEET THE AUTHOR

A story close
to my heart.

Adam LeBlanc is a healthcare leader and storyteller in Austin, Texas. His life with Mushu inspired The Adventures of Mushu and Prince Leo, a series about kindness, friendship, and the love that makes a place feel like home.

Mushu was tragically stolen from Adam, an ordeal that left him heartbroken. Writing this book became a way to honor their bond and share the positive memories, everyday joy, and lasting impact Mushu had on his life.

Through these adventures, Adam hopes children and families will experience a little of the love and comfort Mushu gave him, and carry that spirit of kindness and friendship into their own lives.

With love, Adam
